Reporting Structure
This role will report to the CTO. The Senior Agile Project Manager will be a key contributor to our product development lifecycle, working closely with engineering, product, and content teams to ensure efficient and effective project delivery. This role may also provide mentorship to more junior project management roles.

How You’ll Contribute
As our Senior Agile Project Manager, you won't just manage projects; you'll be instrumental in building our delivery excellence from the ground up within a dynamic greenfield environment. You'll be the linchpin ensuring our ambitious future state architecture translates into tangible, high-impact solutions. Your contributions will include:
  • Pioneering Project Delivery Frameworks: Take the lead in designing, implementing, and optimizing our project delivery frameworks from a greenfield starting point. This means establishing robust processes for requirements gathering, meticulous backlog grooming, iterative sprint planning, and seamless release management that align with our vision for scalability and resilience.
  • Driving End-to-End Project Success: Own the entire lifecycle of multiple complex technical projects concurrently, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. You'll navigate challenges and ensure our strategic initiatives become successful realities.
  • Mastering Agile Facilitation: Expertly facilitate all core Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives), ensuring rigorous adherence to Agile principles and best practices. You'll cultivate a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and high performance within the development teams.
  • Strategic External Partner Management: Act as a primary liaison and orchestrator for our collaborations with external agencies and vendors. You'll manage their deliverables, ensure seamless integration with internal efforts, and hold them accountable to our exacting standards and timelines.
  • Proactive Impediment Removal & Risk Leadership: Systematically identify, analyze, and swiftly remove complex impediments that hinder team progress. You'll proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks at an advanced level, developing robust contingency plans to maintain momentum.
  • Elevated Communication & Stakeholder Alignment: Foster exemplary, transparent communication and collaboration within and across development teams, product, content, and executive leadership. You'll expertly manage expectations and information flow, ensuring all stakeholders are not just informed, but fully aligned with project goals and progress.
  • Key Metric Definition & Insight Generation: Define, track, and report on critical project metrics, including team performance, velocity, predictability, and overall project health. You'll go beyond reporting data, providing actionable insights for strategic decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Strategic Sprint & Release Forecasting: Play a significant role in forecasting future sprints and releases, contributing valuable insights to long-term product road mapping and strategic planning efforts, ensuring our delivery pipeline supports sustained growth.
What It Takes to Succeed
A successful candidate will likely demonstrate:
  • Experience: 6-9 years of progressive experience in an Agile Project Manager or Scrum Master role, with a strong focus on leading and owning project delivery for complex software development or digital product initiatives. Demonstrable experience in establishing and maturing delivery processes in a greenfield or rapidly evolving environment is highly desirable.
  • Certifications: Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent advanced Agile certification (e.g., PSM I/II, SAFe Scrum Master) is required. Additional certifications (e.g., PMP, PMI-ACP) are a strong plus.
  • Leadership & Team Guidance: Proven ability to lead, guide, and motivate multiple technical teams in iterative development, ensuring high accountability and fostering a collaborative, results-driven environment. Experience in mentoring less experienced project managers is a plus.
  • Tool Proficiency: Extensive hands-on experience with enterprise-grade project management and Agile tools such as Jira, Asana, Trello, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms, leveraging them for efficient project execution and reporting.
  • SDLC & Agile Mastery: A deep and practical understanding of the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and various project management methodologies, with comprehensive expertise in applying and optimizing Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) for diverse project needs.
  • Exceptional Communication & Facilitation: Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with the demonstrated ability to build strong relationships, resolve conflicts, and influence outcomes across all levels of the organization and with external partners.
  • External Vendor Management: Proven experience managing and collaborating with third-party agencies, contractors, or vendors, ensuring their deliverables integrate seamlessly and meet project objectives.
  • Conflict & Impediment Resolution: Proven ability to proactively identify, analyze, and effectively resolve complex conflicts and systemic impediments, demonstrating tenacity and problem-solving prowess.
  • Multi-Project Management: Extensive experience in managing multiple concurrent, complex projects and adeptly prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Results Orientation: A strong results-oriented mindset with an unwavering commitment to delivering high-quality products and continually enhancing team and process efficiency.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
